Founded in 2011, Jersey City Ties focuses on community engagement through volunteering, social, and networking events, and is open to anyone who lives or works in Jersey City … or who just loves the city like we do! Over the years we have partnered with many local groups to host community service events, including the Hudson County Boys & Girls Club, Historic Jersey City & Harsimus Cemetery, Ogden’s End Community Garden, Jersey City Food Not Bombs and the food pantries at The Sharing Place and Old Bergen Church. We also love to have fun and frequently host happy hours and other social and networking events to help connect folks in JC, whether you’re new to the area or simply looking to meet new people around town.
